In what has been described as the most important consolidation deal in India’s telecom sector, Anil Ambani’s Reliance Communications (RCom) and Aircel on Wednesday introduced the idea that the two will merge into an unmarried entity. This came quickly after the release of Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio, which launched its services. It is just one of the many fallouts we see inside the large telecom environment in India.
In accordance with the announcement, the merged entity will have the second-largest spectrum preservation in India and assets worth Rs. 65,000 crores, and the merger closed in 2017.

Interestingly, one of the highlights of the deal between Reliance Jio and BSNL is that it offers previous access to rural Users whom the latter’s community reaches widely. At the same time, this is a place where voice calling remains the major use – something that Jio is presenting loose to all subscribers. With that during thoughts, Reliance Jio should reap big advantages in rural regions.
“The tie-up between Jio and BSNL is collectively beneficial.
